III. A Study in Green

Created in collaboration with Elope and captured by Daniel Chafer, this table installation was designed for an intimate wedding at Victoria’s Byron Bay. The work was generous but measured, responding closely to the setting and its architectural details. Creeping grapevine informed the design direction, with a focus on tonal variation and texture. Seasonal hydrangea, amaranthus, and Queen Anne’s lace were woven through layers of verdant foliage. As much a study in foliage as in flower.

I. The Brief

The brief was tonal and textural, anchored in green. References spanned mossy fabrics, abundant hydrangea, and candlelit tablescapes set against verdant foliage. Avocado, sage, and white ran through each image. Abundant but restrained, generous without feeling overdone.
